| Crude palm oil price traded sharply higher by RM46.00 to RM1,652.00, with the highest traded price at RM1,680.00. RBD palm olein traded higher by US$10.50 to US$485.50. Prices were traded bullish due to: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| • Physical market supported by higher CBOT soyabean oil and BMD CPO futures prices. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| · Inspiring higher SGS October 2006 exports data and fueling optimism that palm oil stock levels will decline supported palm prices. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| • Firmer crude oil price led positive sentiments for the local bio-diesel industry. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
