| Prices in the domestic and export markets traded unchanged. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Crude palm oil price traded unchanged at RM1,426.50 with the highest traded price at RM1,450.00. RBD palm olein also traded unchanged at US$422.00. Prices were unchanged due to the ‘leveling off’ of the following factors: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| >> | Bullish MPOB April palm oil data, higher exports up by 4.6% to 1.23 million tonnes and lower stock level own by 4.8% to 1.5 million tonnes. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| >> | Firmer CBOT soyabean oil futures and BMD CPO price sentiment. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| >> | However, the stronger Ringgit against the US dollar, pressured downward palm oil prices. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| >> | Coupled with this was the lower SGS export data for the first 15 days of May, down by 1.6% to 527,713 tonnes. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
