Palm Oil Weekly Prices
 
 
PALM OIL WEEKLY PRICES ON   14th - 20th Nov  2007 3rd  Week
Prices in the domestic and export markets traded easier.
Crude palm oil price traded  easier, down  by RM41.00 to RM2,948.00,  with the highest traded price at RM3,015.00.  RBD palm olein traded lower by US$9.00 to US$934.50. Prices were traded lower due to:
n BMD CPO futures prices advanced by short covering and speculative buying.
n BMD CPO futures prices retreated on aggressive long-liquidation and selling pressure while CBOT soyabean oil futures prices dipped on strong profit taking.
n Dragged down by the pullback 0n crude oil prices and none-too-encouraging trade reports on the palm oil fundamentals.
n Lower SGS’s palm oil exports for the first 15 days of November, down 1.3% to 670,772 tonnes  from 679,512 tonnes  during the same period last month.
Crude palm oil export duty.
n  For the current week 19/11/2007 – 25/11/2007, the CPO export duty payable is RM666.77/ tonne.
Palm oil prices in Europe traded  easier.
n Crude palm oil price traded lower by US$10.00 to US$941.50. CPO discount vis-à-vis SBO widened to US$209.00  this week.
n RBD palm olein traded lower by US$12.50  at US$980.50  and  was  at  a discount of US$170.00 against SBO.
