Crude palm oil price traded firmer, up
by RM52.00 to RM2,589.50, with
the highest traded price at RM2,660.00. RBD palm olein traded higher by US$25.00 to
US$803.00. Prices were traded higher
due to:

Firmer market boosted by BMD CPO futures speculative and
short-covering buying that was influence by bullish soyabean and crude oil prices. |

CBOT soyabean oil futures prices soared to a 23-year high last
week following reduced USDA estimates on soyabean production down by 6
million bushels and stock down by 480
million pounds to 1.735 billion pounds during the current 2007/08. |
